Hublot further consolidates its partnership with Bode Miller, the champion of the skiing world by the launch of the Hublot Bode Bang Limited Edition in New York.Bode Miller also presented in the release conference.
The great partnership between Hublot and Bode Miller came from Bode’s visit to the brand’s workshops to shoot the Kjus catalogue. Bode was so amazed by the watchmakers’ super techniques and know-how that he came up the idea to made his own watch. For this,Bode met with the CEO of Hublot, Jean-Claude Biver. And they immediately reach mutual understanding as they shared not a few respectable values. The gifted, energetic and the determined skier, and the unconventional, particularly feisty CEO both show great generosity through their involvement in supporting humanitarian causes.The Hublot Bode Bang, limited to 250 pieces, is the fruit of this connection.And they has agreed to donate part of the watch’s proceeds to the the Turtle Ridge Foundation, founded by Bode Miller and his family in 2005 to share his success with those less fortunate in life, an ambition equally dear to Jean-Claude Biver and Bode Miller.
In terms of design, the Hublot Bode Bang has nothing new except having Bode Miller’s signature at 9 of the white dial. The case, including the bezel, is done in sandblasted black ceramic. The face has a sapphire crystal cover with anti-reflection treatment, and the sapphire crystal case back reveals the HUB4100 automatic chronograph movement. The watch is presented on an adjustable black rubber with black PVD clasp.
